The sub-prime meltdown in the US from early 2007, contagion to CDOs and structured product worldwide and the ensuing liquidity crisis set the backdrop for catastrophic write-downs across the banking community throughout 2007 and 2008. This changed the landscape of the financial sector forever. Many fundamentally sound assets experienced dramatic falls in mark-to-market as liquidity disappeared, impacting conservative investors in vanilla credit and other assets previously considered low risk.

In this environment many organisations from investment banks and asset managers to regulators, central banks and auditors have found that strongly focused specialists such as Green Street Capital are able to add value.

Since inception, Green Street Capital has been involved in a number of advisory, valuation and expert witness projects.

Green Street Capital has:
